My friend drew Lets Get It!! Isn’t it amazing? :D
{Sooo I had to repost this because it bothered me that I had originally posted it as a question… and then i accidentally posted it as a chat… whoops. Sorry, I’m still getting used to Tumblr!}
This was probably the most random dream I had that night… Pretty weird. I didn’t have enough time to type out the entire dream, but this is most of it. And yeah, I know that this is really embarrassing and I’ll probably regret posting it, but I just don’t care. : P
I awoke in a strange bed. I’d never seen this bed before, but it was giant and extravagant. I quickly rolled out of it and shuffled downstairs, to see whose house I was staying in. As I walked through the halls, I saw many photos aligning the walls; some were abstract, others were of me and a person who looked somewhat familiar. I made my way to the kitchen.
As I walked in, I saw a man at the stove, nonchalantly flipping pancakes. I immediately froze; I had no idea who this person was. I guess he’d heard me, for he quickly turned around and engulfed me in a great bear hug.
“Good morning, Sweetie!” he said. He quickly pecked me on the cheek, then went back to flipping the pancakes. I was stunned into silence. This man looked so familiar, but I just couldn’t remember his name.
“Is there something wrong?” He’d finished making the pancakes and was setting the table, while I stood in awkward silence.
“Kris? Are you feeling okay? You look a bit spooked… Did you have another one of those weird dreams about the flying fruit people?” I shook my head furiously. I then realized who this person was; it was Taylor Foiles, of Let’s Get It. I nervously ran my fingers through my hair, trying to understand the situation I was in, when something tangled itself in my hair.
“Oh, let me help you!” Taylor swiftly, yet gently, pulled out a silver ring. “Here ya go!” I snatched it out of his hand.
“What… what the hell is this?” I asked.
“What do you mean? That’s your wedding ring, remember?” He looked at me curiously.
“Oh… right. When did I get it?” I was still extremely confused.
“When we got married… last month? You said it was the day you’d never forget,” he said sadly.
“Oh, no I didn’t forget of course! I was just, um, testing you!” I laughed a bit too hardily. Taylor immediately brightened.
“Oh, ok then! Well, let’s eat breakfast!”
Just as I was about to sit down, I awoke.
